- If Amiga continue to use the chips, SHE must upgrade them to the processor standards.
- That means in two/tree years the standards will be the 620 (64 bits and 300 mhz).
- A TRUE chpiset MUST be at this level, if not, you will have a bottleneck.
- Whith a such AAA (or BBB or what else) running 64 bit chips, 64 bit memory etc.
- at 300 mhz the Amiga Power will have a performance comparable to the A1000.
- If you think this needs too much money ok, resign.
-
- There are 3 ways to increase performance at work:
-
- Work more and more quickly by yourself. That's primitive (PC's, Mac's).
- Ask somebody to help you doing the same work. Not bad (Any multiprocessor server).
- Work together and specialize, each one in different tasks. Best evolution (Amiga).
-
- Tomorrow or after tomorrow that's the only way for any platform.
- Sony (playstation) and Atari (Falcon) are allready on the way, now just surviving
- with games, may be tomorrow on the big market?
-
- Dont speculate too much in the today stability of the MS market.
- World is in evolution and you never know when the turnover will come.
